Created in 2015, the Graduate Program in Sustainable Production and Animal Health promotes the search for innovative answers to raise the productivity and quality standards of the agribusiness chain, integrating animal health with human well-being.

🌱 Sustainable Production

Focuses on optimizing production systems with technical efficiency and environmental responsibility. Its projects include:

  • Ruminant Nutrition: Alternative sources and pasture supplementation.
  • Production Systems: Efficiency and viability of dairy production.
  • Market Analysis: National and international scenario of meat and milk.

🏥 Animal Health

Dedicated to clinical research and welfare, this line investigates diagnostic and therapeutic solutions under the One Health perspective:

  • Pharmaceutical Innovation: Veterinary drug development and antimicrobial resistance studies.
  • Clinical and Diagnostics: New techniques for diagnosing and treating animal diseases.
  • Welfare and Bioethics: Pain management and responsible pet ownership education.
  • Public Health and Zoonoses: Investigation of pathogens and epidemiological dynamics in the animal-human interface.

🔬 Scientific Integration and Impact
